Your email, and what we do with it.

The short version
The Cognix waitlist collects your email address so we can tell you when Cognix is ready to try and send the occasional update about it. We don't sell it, we don't share it for advertising, and you can unsubscribe or ask us to delete it anytime.
Who we are
Cognix is an app in development, built by a small founding team. Responsible for your data: the founders of Cognix, which is not yet a registered company. Contact us at [email protected].
What we collect when you join
- Your email address, and the date and time you joined.
- Where you came from: which button on this page you used, campaign tags in the link you followed (such as
utm_sourceor a keyword likekw=LEARN), and the name of the website that sent you (just the domain, not the full address). - A scrambled version of your IP address (a one-way hash). We use it to stop spam and fake sign-ups. We don't store your actual IP address.
- A referral code generated for your sign-up, so we can add invite links later. Nothing is shown or shared with it today.
That's it. We don't ask for your name, age, phone number, or location, and the sample quiz on this page doesn't record your answers.
Why we collect it
- To email you when Cognix is ready to try, and send occasional updates about it.
- To understand which posts and platforms bring people here, so we can make more of what works.
- To keep the waitlist honest by blocking spam and fake sign-ups.
We rely on your consent when you join. You can withdraw it anytime by unsubscribing or asking us to delete your email.
Emails
Every email we send will include an unsubscribe link. We'll only email you about Cognix.
Cookies and analytics
This page doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. To remember which link brought you here during your visit, it uses your browser's session storage, which clears when you close the tab. If we turn on visitor analytics, we'll use a privacy-friendly, cookie-free service that counts visits without identifying you, and we'll update this policy.
Who else sees it
Only the Cognix team, plus the service providers that host this site, store the list, and (later) send our emails, who process it on our behalf. We'll list them here once they're chosen.
How long we keep it
Until Cognix launches and for a reasonable time after, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Depending on where you live, you may also be able to complain to your local data protection authority (in India, the Data Protection Board of India).
Age
Cognix is made for people aged 16 and up. This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you're under 16, check with a parent or guardian before joining. If we learn we've collected a child's email, we'll delete it.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of India.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will be emailed to the waitlist.
